My mom and I have decided that the Vocal Arts Ensemble has "retreats." Today we had a staff retreat; Tim and I met from eleven till one thirty, had lunch, then were joined by Mom from two thirty till around seven. We got the calendar for the season hammered out, foundation requests planned, logos and designs discussed, CD distribution discussed (and a plan decided upon), box office stuff research, and and and . . . Lots of stuff. We decided to call them "Staff Retreats." It can go in the organization verbiage that we "conduct by-monthly staff retreats to discuss the current operations and future direction of the organization."

This Weekend To Do:

-go hiking
-pick mangoes
-make mango chutney with mom and aunt
-finish McInerny proposal
-finish calendar for HVAE (add everything that isn't a concert or rehearsal)
-re-draft a groundplan for The Movement Center's summer show which loads into the theatre in two weeks
-make a cake for dinner on Sunday

I'm really glad I cleaned my desk last night, and did laundry on Wednesday! I'm not entirely sure how (or when) I'm going to get everything done.
